First Street at TechWeek: Technology, Transparency, and The Public Sector

First Street is excited about the possible opportunity to present at 2012 TechWeek – BUT we need our readers to help us get the presentation on the agenda.  First Street Product Manager, Stephen Stesney, proposed a session on technology and transparency in the public sector for this years SessionCast, see details below.   First Street is changing the advocacy game by bringing greater transparency to the secretive world of lobbying.  Vote for our session on the SessionCast page.  Voting closes on Febraury 16th – we need all the help we can get!

Session Description: The focus of the presentation on is transparency in the public sector and how databases, like First Street, make it easier than ever for businesses and reporters to access information about government, Congress, lobbying, etc, therefore creating a more open relationship between the certain constituencies, the media, lobbyists and the government.
