Lobbying Respect for Marriage Act Which Repeals Defense of Marriage Act Continues

The President’s recent announcement that he supports same-sex marriage has put the issue into the national spotlight.  For the past few years several groups have been actively lobbying the Respect for Marriage Act which would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act.  In early April we covered this lobbying in our report Defense of Marriage Act v. Respect for Marriage Act. Here is a quick update on the lobbying from 2012 1Q.
