Hannegan Landau Advocacy, launched last month by former Wexler & Walker President Tim Hannegan and Senior Vice President Daniella Landau, has signed its first clients.
Recent congressional filings show that the firm has landed contracts with such major companies as:
- A.O. Smith
- American Airlines
- Education Corporation of America
- Federal Express
- Weight Watchers International
A.O. Smith, American Airlines, Comcast and Weight Watchers have been clients of Wexler & Walker. No terminations of those contracts have been filed.
Other signed clients of the new firm include Lewis University, Lifeway Foods, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Quad Partners and Set Jet.
Hannegan, grandson of former Democratic National Committee chairman Robert E. Hannegan, is a former assistant director of the Government Accountability Office.
He was principal lobbyist for many of Wexler & Walker’s transportation clients. Hannegan also served as an information transportation adviser to the 2008 Obama campaign.
Before joining Wexler & Walker, Landau had her own firm, Landau Consulting. She previously worked for Baker, Donelson and managed government affairs for American Airlines. She also served on the Clinton/Gore transition team.
Hannegan and Landau aren’t the only recent departures from Wexler & Walker. Vice Chairman Thomas Blank, former acting deputy administrator of the Transportation Security Administration, left last month for Gephardt Government Affairs.
