Hull is a former staff director for the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions’ Subcommittee on Aging, where she led efforts to address the nation’s nursing shortage. At Fierce, Isakowitz & Blalock—where she has been since 2003—she continues to work with a variety of health care entities, including such Fortune 100 giants as Medco Health Solutions Inc. and United Health Group Inc. The firm—whose clients include MillerCoors, the Business Roundtable, and Ford—took in more than $7.7 million through the third quarter of 2011. Others at the firm include Kate Blalock, Kirsten Chadwick, and Mark Chappell. According to Hull’s website biography, she was involved with clients throughout the 2009–2010 health-care-reform debate and during consideration of the Medicare Modernization Act, Food Safety Modernization Act, and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act.
